It is a deadly chemical largely used in industrial operations but when consumed can cause lot of damage to the well-being of an individual.
Fluorine is a gas when put in fire burns quickly, such is like every rubber product we use. It was never made to keep warm foods like soup, banku, rice, hot water in them because the Fluorine will end up getting into the food when is is warm or hot . It is therefore advisable that Ghanaian women and men stop wrapping hot Banku in rubber because it ends up being poisoned thereby causing severe health complications. They can however resort to using leaves of plantain to wrap them.
Instead of using rubber to keep your warm foods, use stainless steel and wooden products for keeping and cooking all your warm foods
Diseases associated with consuming Fluorine include :
1. Cancer in all forms. 6. Hepatitis
2. Liver failure 7. Heart failure
3. Kidney failure 8. Ulcer
4. Cataract in eye
