The Untold Legacies of Kwame Nkrumah

 The  Untold Legacies of Kwame Nkrumah                        Dr Kwame Nkrumah  Kwame Nkrumah was born on 21st September, 1909 in Nkroful, Ghana formally Gold Coast. He was named Francis Nua Kofi Nkrumah but later  he changed it to Kwame Nkrumah in 1945 the reason being that he wanted to be known as a pure African without the white man's name. He became the Secretary General of United Gold Coast Convention (UGCC) in 1947 through the suggestion of Arko Adjei. Later on 12th June, 1949,he formed his own political party called Convention People's Party (CPP) still in existence.
