  The Kumawood was a game changer for the Ghana movie industry:Previously, Nollywood movies were largely seen on our TV screens in most households.                          Dr. Joseph Boakye Danquah Joseph Boakye Danquah was born on December 18th,1895 in Bepong, Kwahu in the Eastern region of Ghana. He was a politician, writer, lawyer and a member of the Big Six. Dr JB Danquah was one of the people in opposition who criticized Dr Kwame Nkrumah on many occasions when the latter was the president of Ghana.  Dr JB Danquah began schooling at the Basel Mission school at Kyibi then to Basel Senior School at Begoro all in the Eastern region of Ghana.
