 Ghana Police March in Accra On Monday. The Ghana Police Service will tomorrow 21st September, 2020 March in some parts of Accra from 6am to midday in a press release letter dated 20th September, 2020  and signed by  Sheila Kessie Abayie - Buckman(Mrs)  The march is one of the several activities planned to assure the public of the commitment and readiness of the Police to maintain law and order before, during and after the elections. It shall also be used to display some Police resources like ambulance, trained dogs, crime scene and Armoured vehicles, which shall be tactically deployed as part of resources for election security, to protect law abiding citizens and residents of Ghana.  Read the full press release letter below :

Electoral Commission rolls out SMS Platform

The Electoral Commission wishes to inform the general public that the SMS platform it has put in place to enable registered voters access their registration details will be activated on Friday 18th September to Friday 25th September 2020. Prospective voters should simply text their voter ID number to short code 1422 on all networks to access their details.  Voters who accessed the service before the commencement date that, will have their details sent to them once the service is activated. It is not necessary to re-access the service.  REMEMBER : Voters are to send their ID number to the code 1422 to access their details. Cost of sms is 30Gp Read the press statement below :

The Ghana Education Service is requesting applicants from qualified trained teachers who completed College of Education in 2019 to be considered for recruitment. REQUIREMENTS 1. Completed college of education in 2019 and have no  outstanding exams or referrals. 2. Completed the mandatory national service 3. Passed the Ghana Teacher Licensure Exams. 4.   A picture circulating on social media of a mother carrying her child on her back whiles discharging her photography duties has caught the attention and admiration of many social media users. Lots of them have praised this mother for the love for her child and job. Additionally, the picture also depicts the love and support our mothers have showed us from time immemorial. It is not surprising that mother's day is widely celebrated by majority of people globally.  I believe this picture will go a long way to inspire young mothers to sacrifice more for their ward. My little research on this topic revealed that it originated from the Ashanti region, the second capital of Ghana after Accra by a group of young men who call themselves KUMERICAN MOVEMENT. This is nonpartisan movement.   The youth of Madina Church of Christ organized a clean up exercise today 25th August, 2018 as part of their youth month celebration.This was in line with the church's social responsibilities to the community.
